Article 1 – Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:
Withdrawal period: The period during which the consumer may cancel a distance contract.
Consumer: A natural person acting outside the scope of a business or professional activity who enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur.
Right of withdrawal: The consumer's right to cancel a distance contract within the applicable withdrawal period.
Entrepreneur: The natural or legal person offering products or services to consumers through distance selling.
Distance contract: A contract concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer within an organized system for distance sales using only remote communication methods.
Long-term contract: A contract relating to a series of products or services delivered over an extended period.
CESOP: The Central Electronic System of Payment Information established by the European Union to monitor payment service providers.

Article 3 – Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers made by the entrepreneur and to all distance contracts concluded through the website.
Before completing a purchase, these Terms & Conditions are made available electronically. By placing an order on norascoastalboutique.com, the consumer automatically agrees to these Terms & Conditions, the Return Policy, and all other policies published on the website.
Customers are advised to review these policies carefully before placing an order.
Article 4 – Offers
All offers presented on the website are non-binding. The entrepreneur reserves the right to modify or withdraw offers at any time.
Prices displayed on the website include applicable charges unless stated otherwise. Any additional costs such as customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
Article 5 – Contract Formation
A contract is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and fulfills the required conditions.
After an order has been placed, the entrepreneur will send an order confirmation by email.
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 30 days of receiving the product, without providing a reason.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify the entrepreneur within this period.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the consumer.
Article 7 – Refunds
If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, the entrepreneur will refund the purchase amount within 30 days after receiving the returned product.
Products must be returned in original condition and packaging.
Refunds may be withheld until the returned item has been received and inspected.
Article 8 – Customs, Duties and Taxes
Customers are responsible for complying with the customs regulations and import requirements of their country.
The entrepreneur does not act as the importer of record.
Any customs duties, import taxes, or administrative fees charged by the carrier or authorities are the responsibility of the customer.
While shipping documentation will be provided where necessary, the entrepreneur cannot guarantee compliance with local import laws. Customers are advised to verify applicable regulations before placing an order.
Article 9 – CESOP Compliance
Under European Union regulations introduced in 2024, payment service providers may be required to record certain transactions in the Central Electronic System of Payment Information (CESOP).
The entrepreneur complies with these regulatory requirements where applicable.
Article 10 – Product Conformity and Warranty
The entrepreneur guarantees that products conform to the contract and meet applicable legal standards.
Complaints regarding defects must be reported in writing within 14 days of discovering the issue.
Products must be returned in their original condition when a defect claim is made.
Article 11 – Delivery
Orders are delivered within 30 days, unless a different delivery timeframe is stated.
If a delay occurs, the consumer will be informed as soon as possible.
Orders are shipped internationally under conditions where the customer acts as the recipient and importer, and therefore assumes responsibility for customs procedures.
The entrepreneur is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections or other import processes.
Failure to comply with customs regulations does not constitute valid grounds for cancellation or refund.
Article 12 – Complaints
Complaints regarding products or services must be submitted in writing within 7 days of discovering the issue.
The entrepreneur will respond within 14 days. If additional time is required, the customer will be informed of the expected response timeframe.
Article 13 – Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
Parties will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably. If no resolution can be reached, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
